Country Manor Valentine's Day
Our hearts are full after such an incredible Valentine's Day celebration! Residents were pampered by our amazing Salon team before stepping in front of the camera for portraits, and each guest received a beautiful rose courtesy of AARP and Sartell Public Safety. K9 Kimber was an undeniable crowd favorite, of course!
We loved welcoming Kids Country and watching generations connect — laughing, playing, and making memories together. The Eyeclick interactive projector, made possible by the Country Manor Foundation, kept the fun moving all afternoon.
The turnout was immense. The smiles were contagious. The joy was real.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, supported, volunteered, donated, and made this event so meaningful. What a gift it is to celebrate together.

Let’s just say we quickly discovered who had a competitive streak. There may have even been a few “swear jar” worthy moments heard across the room—but they were followed by plenty of laughter. ?
While the game itself didn’t last long (turns out pool noodle hockey is quite the workout!), the smiles and stories lasted long after the final goal. Our East Commons community always finds the most creative—and fun—ways to stay active and make memories together.]()

![Music has filled the halls of Country Manor for decades thanks to Lisa Weber — bringing comfort, joy, and sometimes even a moment of magic.
Lisa first joined our team in June of 1999, after answering a simple newspaper ad. What followed was 26 years of sharing her gift with residents, from birthday celebrations and weekly performances to quiet, meaningful moments at residents’ bedsides at the end of their lives.
“My specialty is playing for people who are transitioning...” Lisa shared. “I try to play THEIR songs.”
One moment that has always stayed with her happened while playing for a resident who hadn’t moved or spoken in nearly a full day.
“I started playing polkas - because that’s what she loved. Her hands shot straight up in the air, and she started clapping.”
During the height of COVID, when residents were isolated in their rooms, Lisa performed personalized virtual concerts, singing residents’ favorite songs over video calls so they could still feel connection and comfort.
Through it all, Lisa says one belief has always guided her:
“Through music, you can reach almost anyone.”
Residents, families, and staff have all felt the impact of Lisa’s kindness and music over the years.
While she may be officially retiring, we’re grateful she’ll still return as a regular guest musician to continue sharing her gift with residents.

During Woodcrest Wonderland, residents collected stamps by fully immersing themselves in the magic of the event — from a sled dog meet & greet, therapy pup snuggles, and holiday hors d’oeuvres, to warming up with festive drinks, Christmas bingo, crafting, storytime with Chaplain Bruce, photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus, and a truly special horse-drawn carriage ride.
Each completed activity earned a stamp, and residents who experienced all the unique festivities were entered into a special prize drawing. Beverly checked every box — and it paid off! She took home a salon gift card for some pampering, a complimentary 360 apartment home cleaning, and a free ticket for a guest to join us at one of our upcoming chef-prepared multi-course dinners!

This year’s celebration was truly one for the books—a week packed with gratitude, giveaways, and good times!
From daily surprises like specialty coffee, fresh-baked donuts, and sweet treats, to cash drawings every single day (nearly 100 lucky winners took home prizes ranging from $50 to $500!)—we pulled out all the stops to make sure our incredible team felt the appreciation they deserve.
And we wrapped up the week with a campus-wide celebration featuring a catered soup, salad, and sandwich bar, fun games, and more prizes to go around!
To each and every staff member—thank you for the care, compassion, and commitment you bring every day. You are the heart of who we are, and you truly deserve to be celebrated. ❤️
